Evaluating AI Sales Platforms: Twelve Questions Worth Asking
8 min read
A vendor-neutral checklist for evaluating AI sales tools, covering actions, governance, handoff, data ownership and honest scope.
Ask about actions before language
Most tools now converse well. Fewer can create an opportunity, schedule a meeting, prepare an approved quotation, or hand a conversation to the right colleague with context. Ask for the list of actions, not the list of languages.
Ask where control lives
Who approves the knowledge the AI may use? Who defines what it may promise? What happens with a sensitive or high-value conversation? A serious answer includes explicit limits, not only capabilities.
Ask what is not ready yet
Every platform has a roadmap. The useful signal is whether a vendor separates what is available today from what requires configuration, provider approval, or future development. Vagueness here is expensive later.
Onseller.ai is presented here as a product direction with illustrative interfaces. Live channels, delivery, and integrations are configured with your team before anything is active.
